St. Joseph The Worker Church
Designed in the country vernacular, this 600 seat Saint Joseph the Worker church in Hanson, MA was built to accommodate the needs of a growing parish community. The nave and devotional chapel feature dramatic fir trusses and elegant yet simple detailing that create an inspirational worship space.
The nave has a gently sloping floor plate which helps provide optimum sight lines towards the altar and sanctuary. The expansive narthex services after-mass gatherings as well as overflow seating for 140 parishioners. The construction includes a link to the former church which is being used as office space, meeting rooms and religious education classrooms
